A note on the referral system

Tastythreads needs your help to build the community. That is, a community of users interested in environmental sustainability and design. We hope you find tastythreads fun and useful enough to tell your friends about us.

As a thank you for spreading the word about tastythreads, you will receive a credit of 2.5% of all purchases ever made by the friends you bring to tastythreads.

You will receive a "referral link" after you initially register on tastythreads (you can find your link on your account page), and you can see it under the "my account" link to the right. Anytime someone enters the site through your link, and registers, our Amazing Internet Robots will know you referred this person. And, every time this person makes a purchase, you will receive a credit of 2.5% of their purchase.

For example, let's say you invite a friend to tastythreads using your personal referral link, and your friend registers on tastythreads. Then your friend spends $50 on sweet organic t-shirts -- you will receive $1.25 credit in your account. It will build up fast, and every once and a while we'll offer you a chance to convert your credits to cash.

Our goal with this is to thank you for the help. Specifically, we want to reward you for spreading the word about the web site, and not for selling our shirts.
