Terms of Use

Rule One: You must be 13 years or older to use this site. If you are not, please log off now and return when you are old enough.

Tastythreads terms of use boil down to two general themes:

We won't be dicks, and you promise not to be douche.

That is, we will try our hardest not to be dicks, but may occasionally be dickish by accident. Likewise, some douchebaggery by users is expected, and acceptable.

Detailed Terms and Conditions

By submitting a design to tastythreads, I agree to the following:

1. I am giving tastythreads 90 days from the date of submission to consider publishing and selling my design for publication on clothing.
2. I will not submit the same design for publication on clothing to any other site or competitor while tastythreads is deciding whether to publish and sell my design.
3. To my knowledge, I am not copying this design or major elements of this design from anyone else's copyrighted material.
4. If tastythreads has chosen to publish and sell my design, I will still own the copyright to the design, but I agree that only tastythreads has the right to publish it on clothing.
5. If tastythreads chooses not to publish and sell my design on clothing after 90 days, all rights to the design are mine.
6. If tastythreads chooses to publish and sell my design on clothing, I will let tastythreads know whether I want a one-time cash payment or ongoing royalties for my compensation. (More details on compensation here.)

By using this site, I agree to the following:

1. I am at least 13 years old.
2. Tastythreads has the right to choose which designs to post on the website.
3. Tastythreads has the right to choose which designs to print on clothing.
4. Tastythreads has the right to delete accounts or designs at their own discretion. Typically tastythreads will only do this in the case of severe douchebaggery. (Although we may also remove designs at the request of the submitter.)
