guess which designs are our first winners

Can you guess which designs are the inaugural winners?

Hints:

1. We chose two.
2. One is category-unspecific, the other is kind of eco-oriented.

Well?? What do you think? Take a guess in this thread.

/please don't give it away, you-know-who(s).
//assuming there is no FAIL in the printing, we should have them up for sale this month

Not me!  Probably one of woodbane's designs. *nodnod*

gotta be rebirth by woodbane, right?

hehe. Can't say yet -- we want to wait until the shirts are up for sale.

Interesting that you would both pick Woodbane.

Chris - are your ears burning?

I thought someone was talking about me...

when's the tees released?

Nice new avatar! Yet another sighting of the Wotto brand...

We're receiving our first complete batches early next week, and will be putting shirts up for sale in about two weeks, assuming everything looks as good as the samples have. Sorry I can't give a hard date - it's taken a little longer to get the supply chain where we want it than we thought it would.

I can't wait for everyone to see the shirts. They are super soft, and excellent quality. We've just been working to make sure we get the colors just right.

awesome. Good to hear you are making sure it's a quality item.

any updates to know about? It has been a little quiet around here.

Gander - there's also been a number of changes going on behind the scenes as we get read for the inaugural sales/launch. We've added the requirement of picking the color of dye you think your design will look best on, as well as added some more editing functionality under the "My Portfolio" page that allows you to edit more aspects of your design without having to resubmit it.

Indeed. Thanks for the question.

There have been a few bumps in the supply chain of the organic shirts + water-based printing. So, we decided to pick multiple winners from our beta-test submission, so we can fill the supply of t-shirts. That way, we can introduce new tees at a regular interval, even when they are not being supplied in such a regular interval. (Hope this makes sense.)

We will be selling our first two winners within about 2 weeks (maybe 3), and then introducing more new winners regularly after that.

And, we'll start some marketing, and introduce ways for the community to be rewarded for helping spread the word, etc. Basically, we'll 'go live' at that point. Which is really only different from beta-testing in that we'll be contacting many more artists.

Thanks for hanging in with us as we go through this birthing process...

any news on the prints jeff?

Yes - we've got our first batches of shirts, and they look and feel FABULOUS! (You have to say that with a ghey accent to pull it off.)

We're waiting for one more batch before we offer product for our first sale.

anything????

We're getting ready to launch for real. We're waiting on the next batch of shirts from the vendor so we don't run out of inventory right away.

w00t!

This is news I can get behind! :)

 Hi,Am I missing something here? It's now Nov. 20th but I don't see any t-shirts in the store.  --http://blog.ruderetro.com

No, unfortunately, you're not. You have to understand that we're trying to do something new here, and with most things that are new, there are going to be problems.

Our shirts are 100% organic, printed with a 100% earth friendly printing process, AND they are one of the most comfortable shirts you'll ever wear. Getting this into a repeatable supply chain has proved very, very difficult. That's why the site is still in Beta.

That being said, our second and third printing have supposedly been shipped from the printers and should be arriving this week. We are hoping, once again, to get the store open - along with a few cosmetic and functional changes we've been making in the dev site - up in time for the holidays.

Any further updates or news that can be passed along?

2009. Will there be some tasty threads?
